Great News!
Dear Members and Friends:
We prayed for the Lord to guide us in the direction He has for us concerning our proposed new sanctuary project. We are excited to announce that our recent New Building Fundraising Campaign brings our current total cash on hand plus pledges to just over the $300,000 mark! And we have people like you to thank for it! Your pledges helped make this vision possible.
We will post pictures as we move through the construction process. We still need to raise more funds to purchase furnishings such as landscaping and other needs that may arise. Thank you again for thinking of the Lord’s church here in such a special way!
If anyone wishes to give toward this project please make checks payable to “Christian Church Building Fund” or notate in the “Memo” section of your check that your gift goes to the Building Fund”.

“Country Gospel Worship”
There was an “open communion service” at 10:00 a.m. at the Washington Christian Church for all believers in Christ on the same morning as our Unity Service. “Country Gospel Worship”, at the Fairgrounds (Near the pool) July 28, was well attended. There were around 200 honoring Christ’s prayer for unity in John 17:21. Pray along with us that the walls that divide us as Christians may come down! Our flock was well represented with 67 of our people there for worship.

Massachusetts Veteran William Shuttleworth
walked a 3,000-mile trek to help other vets.
William Shuttleworth, 71, a veteran who just walked across the country, is going to talk with veterans and hopefully raise awareness about veteran’s issues. William came through Washington July 3rd before continuing on his journey. Veterans have a special place in his heart. Check out his website: https://vetsdontforgetvets.com/.
